Tresia runs a thrift store, somewhere in Arkansas. We drove past what looked like a farmyard utensil graveyard and decided to stop to have a closer look. Nothing bought inside, but those places are wholly photogenic: rusted tractors, bits of bric-a-brac and other Americana. And presiding over it all was Tresia, who spends her spare time travelling around garage sales finding bits and bobs to put into her shop.
I love this photo because she’s sitting serenely surrounded by clutter and the accoutrements of her day to day…
